Intro

I am a pre-final year student pursuing my bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering along with honors in Data Science from Symbiosis Institute of Technology(2019-2023). I have a keen interest in Data Analysis, Machine Learning and have been learning about various algorithms from over two years now.

I focus on combining my Data Science and Machine Learning skills to create various projects focusing on real life problems in different domains. The goal is to find a job where I can use my coding skills and abilities to help the company expand while also advancing my professional career.

In 2023, I will graduate from Symbiosis International University with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology along with honors in Data Science. I intend to pursue my Master's degree at a reputable university in the future.

Projects

Human Image Classification

A model that will classify Indian origin humans from other origins. Face detection is done with Haar-Cascade and the SVM algorithm. Haar-Cascade is an Object Detection Algorithm used to identify faces in an image or a real time video. The model created from this training is available at the OpenCV GitHub repository here.

In the SVM algorithm, we plot each data item as a point in n-dimensional space (where n is number of features you have) with the value of each feature being the value of a particular coordinate. Then, we perform classification by finding the hyper-plane that differentiates the two classes very well.

We had to feed the model with the dataset and then use it to test our outputs based on the inputs test dataset. Finally, we got an accuracy of 75-80%.

Quiz Management System

Online quiz management system is a software which is very helpful in current times when education is delivered through online channel. This software will reduce the complexity of taking tests online.

It is an easy and reliable testing program that is unique in its category where you can use the questions you have created in a way that represents test sessions. Due to its open-source nature you can modify it according to your needs. The project was made using Java 8.1 and MySQL for database management.

The main target audience for the software is the educational institutions which include the schools and colleges. It also includes corporates and MSME’s intending to take surveys and customer feedback.

Movie Search Web App

This is a simple to use movie search web app where you can see the overview or gist of the movie searched. The application is made using HTML and CSS for the front-end and Javascript for the backend functionalities.

The future potential of this application is for it to be more detailed in terms of data. Reviews, ratings, and a thorough overview of the films, as well as alternatives for streaming on various OTT platforms, can be shown.
